To celebrate the upcoming Oscars ceremony in just a few weeks, I wanted to pay a tribute to some of Hollywood's all time classic & favourite actresses. These "Girls on Film" have touched and inspired so many of us, they made us laugh, they made us cry, they made us love and much much more. Thanks to their priceless and timeless performances, they will continue to touch and inspire generations to come.
The title" Blood On Film" was a deliberate choice to illustrate how much of themselves they have given on camera, and often how many sacrifices some of these actresses have made to do what they did.
The audio features Duran Duran's "Girls On Film" vs DJ Shadow's "Blood On The Motorway". There's also an extra piano part I added and a drum loop from Massive Attack's "Mezzanine".
